Why Did Jesus Have To Die?

If you are like me, you have probably heard the story of Jesus dying on the cross countless times. Even if you are not familiar with the story, you probably have seen a movie clip or a painting depicting the scene. And a lot of us know that Jesus died for our sins. But when we stop and think about it, we can easily get confused. Why death? Why a cross? Why Jesus? So for the next two weeks, I will attempt to answer the question, Why Did Jesus Have To Die? Now this is not just a lot of knowledge building- I believe that when we think deeply about the death of Jesus Christ, it will deepen our faith and our love for God.
