Below are some upcoming events that are in addition to our regular weekly schedule. They are listed on the church calendar, but we've tried to provide a more detailed description here.

Acquire The Fire- Normal's Not Enough - Fri. & Sat., Feb. 10 & 11

Encourage your teenager to sign up for this weekend of high energy worship and teaching. It will be an experience they will never forget. The event will be held at Kemper Arena and all teens are encouraged to attend. Cost is $50. For more information, talk to Pastor Andy this Sunday, or call the church at (816) 348-0303.

Family Spiritual Leadership - Starts Sunday Feb. 12, 6 pm

Pastor Andy will be leading a four-week session on Sunday evenings beginning Sunday Feb. 12th at 6 pm. For all parents, learn how to lead your family. For more information, talk to Pastor Andy this Sunday, or call the church at (816) 348-0303.

"Advanced" Cook With Your Kids- Sat., Feb. 18, 11 am - 1 pm

Are you looking for something fun to do with your kids? Cooking with your kids is a great way to spend quality time with your them. Together you will create delicious food that you can share with your family.

Cord of Three Strands Banquet - Sat, Feb. 25, 5:30 - 8:30 pm

Our annual All-Church Banquet is always filled with fun, laughter, friends, and good food. This years' theme celebrates the message in Ecclesiastes 4: 9-12. Tickets cost $5 per person with a $20 family maximum (kids 2 and under are free). Your evening will include dinner, entertainment and an opportunity to get to know each other! Also included this year is a performance by Action Pact, an improv group from MidAmerica Nazarene University. Please contact Erica Matters with questions.

FPU Informational Meetings - Sun, Mar 4, Noon & 6 pm

If you would like more information on Financial Peace University or want to sign up for the class, there will be 2 informational meetings: Sunday, March 4th, right after church (noon) and that same evening at 6 pm.

Financial Peace University - Sundays at 6-8 pm, Mar 11 - Jun 3

Are you worried about how you will survive another year with less income and higher expenses? Financial Peace University is a great personal finance seminar that will teach you how to live on a budget, pay off debt, make wise purchases, and invest for the future. This 13-week class is taught via DVD by personal finance guru Dave Ramsey. Classes are held at New Vision Church on Sunday nights at 6 pm, starting March 11th.
